I had the most incredible stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly hospitality from the hosts, Ian and Frances. The level of attention to detail in the beautifully decorated rooms was truly impressive. The high-quality fixtures and fittings made for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The hotel's location, high on a hill, provided stunning views of the surrounding area. And to top it all off, the breakfast each morning was delicious and satisfying. I also found a lovely bistro in town that was recommended by the hosts.

The location in a restaurant beside the river was a wonderful feature. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-maintained bathroom. the host was welcoming and attentive and made a delicious and plentiful breakfast. the manor house had wonderful facilities like a swimming pool and green areas, ideal for relaxation.

We did experience some communication issues with our hosts, which made things a bit difficult at times.

The parking area was too far away from the hotel and there was no help offered with carrying luggage up a steep walkway with no rails. the hostess seemed rude and unwelcoming, which dampened the experience.
